You are invited to join us for a thought-provoking seminar by Richard Crowell, MD on Thursday, 10/3/2019 from 9 to 10 AM the Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center, room 228.

As the Vice Chair of Quality and Safety at the UNM Department of Internal Medicine, Dr. Crowell will present on Hospital Data Reporting to Government Agencies and the Metrics that Impact Reimbursement and Hospital Star Ratings. At this seminar, attendees will learn about the various quality programs hospitals must maintain compliance with, challenges faced by hospitals when collecting data to meet reporting requirements, anticipated changes in the future of hospital quality reporting and how metric reporting is used by different national scorecards for Quality and Safety evaluation.
