Biomedical Informatics Seminar Series Presents: Vipul Bodar, MD

by Tamara Wheeler on 2019-04-14T12:00:00-06:00 | 0 Comments

What an amazing season this has been! From learning about health information interoperability in New Mexico, to an introduction to the Nation's first database comprised of over 15,000 whole-body decedent CT scans, the opportunities to gain knowledge of salient topics in biomedical informatics were virtually endless. Rest assured, the season finale is still guaranteed to impart new vigor to the mind.

On that note, you are invited to join us for an informative morning with guest speaker Vipul Bodar, MD and former UNM Clinical Informatics fellow, on Thursday, April 18 from 10-11 AM in HSLIC room 228.

Dr. Bodar will present an overview of the Veteran Healthcare System and its Clinical Informatics Application at the Albuquerque VA Medical Center. In addition, he will review findings from his previous research on the Veteran Healthcare System, developed tools and their limitations at the VA, ways to apply clinical informatics to improve patient/veteran care and related future work.

Stay tuned via HSLIC’s website (https://hslic.unm.edu/) and blog (https://libguides.health.unm.edu/blog) for details about next season’s schedule!

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™.
