With one month down, 2020 is off to a great start here at the Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center (HSLIC). We certainly wouldn’t be off to such a strong start without our newest staff member, David Lucero. We are delighted to have David onboard as HSLIC’s new Unit Administrator because he joins us from the UNM Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) and has a wealth of knowledge in organizational development, employee relations and more! Before joining HSLIC, David earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from UNM and worked on main campus for 14.5 years. Since David joined our team in November 2019, he has rapidly learned the intricate details of north campus and is ready to help take HSLIC’s goals to the next level.
A native of Albuquerque, David also enjoys gardening and tuning in to some good-ole-fashion Christmas music during the holiday season. As we continually work towards enhancing our services and resources to contribute to student success, we know David will be a vital addition to our team. HSLIC extends a warm welcome to David and we look forward to working with him!
