As HSLIC’s Scholarly Communications and Digital Librarian, Jonathan will present on Trends in Archives. Stemming from a broad-level survey of archives and current research and practices within the archival field, this presentation will segue to focus on the theory and methodology that underpins the profession, and how this is applied in myriad applications at HSC.
By attending this seminar, attendees will have a better understanding of the boundaries of professional responsibility for archivists within the records lifecycle (i.e. biomedical informatics); new or recent directions for the profession; and the application of professional archival work at HSC.
