Please join us on Thursday, October 18, 2018 to hear Phil Kroth, M.D, Professor and Director of Biomedical Informatics, Research, Training, and Scholarship (BioMIRTS) discuss updates on informatics training in the United States. Dr. Kroth will be providing an overview of the current state of various training options in biomedical informatics in the US including current workforce, accreditation, and certification issues. This presentation is open to all faculty, students, and staff and runs from 10-11 a.m. at the Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center, room 228. This lecture is part of the library’s Biomedical Informatics Seminar Series (BioMISS). This is the 15th year for BioMISS.
