HSLIC employees are dedicated to linking you to authoritative and current health information. The World Health Organization (WHO) has been tracking the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic for months. One of the most useful features has been their “Myth Busters” updates. You can access the WHO website: https://www.who.int/

Once at the WHO site you can search for “myth busters.”

Some of the myths WHO has “busted” include: warm climates do not offer extra protection from Covid-19; hot baths will not protect you either; nor will cold climates prevent your contracting Covid-19. Ultraviolet light, hand dryers, pneumonia vaccination, or saline nose spray will not protect you.

If you want to link directly to the Myth Busters page go to: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public/myth-busters

Over the next few days, I plan to offer some more helpful resources about Covid-19.
