A new version of WorldCat Discovery, HSLIC’s public facing catalog, will be implemented on August 4, 2021.
What is changing?
Known item searching, especially for electronic resources has improved. The landing page, authentication box, search results page, and item details page have been redesigned with a more modern look. The My Account feature will now be WCAG 2.1 compliant and adapt to inclusive devices on mobile and tablets.
Please keep in mind that Discovery will no longer support Internet Explorer. Some features may still be available, but will not be fixed if broken.
What is NOT changing?
The functionality and search limits will remain the same as the previous interface. The A-Z List/E-journal finder/citation matcher or link resolver pages, personal lists, and advanced search pages will not change.
