HSLIC welcomes Logan Shea to the team. Logan comes to HSLIC from the College of Population Health and joins Public Services on the evening shift. He is originally from Wisconsin and received his Master’s in Latin American Studies, focusing on modern Latin American history, from UNM in 2017. Logan has a strong commitment to volunteering and prior to his Master’s program he was a Peace Corps volunteer from 2013-2015 in Panama.
Logan started working with archives during his graduate program and then combined this interest with his dedication to volunteering at the Special Collections branch of the Public Library Albuquerque-Bernalillo County. He also makes excellent roasted chickpeas and might share the recipe. We are excited to have him on board.
