Embase

A major biomedical database that includes conference papers and extensive drug information

Getting Started

Embase is a database of published biomedical and pharmacological literature. It includes conference abstracts and has broad international coverage. Embase has Medline citations but PubMed and Embase have different search systems, so it may be helpful to search both databases. Embase is a licensed, fee-based system. PubMed is freely available. Embase searches are often important in conducting systematic reviews.
