This page provides instructions for downloading mobile apps available through the library's subscriptions.

UpToDate (Apple, Android, Windows 8)
You must register for an UpToDate account in order to use the mobile app. Click here for instructions on creating an UpToDate account. Once you have created your account, download the app and enter your account credentials. The account must be re-verified every 90 days.

Access (Apple, Android)
Create an Access profile by going to AccessMedicine and clicking on the My Profile drop down menu and selecting "Sign In or Create a Free Access Profile". Download the app on your device and enter the username and password for your Access profile. Accounts must be renewed every 90 days to show you are still affiliated with UNM.

NOTE: The Access app has limited content does not contain all the features within each Access website (such as AccessMedicine and AccessPharmacy). For full functionality, go to each Access website from your device's web browser.

VisualDx (Apple, Android)
Go to VisualDx through HSLIC and click on "Get Mobile" to create a VisualDx account. Download the app to your device and enter your account username and password.

ClinicalKey(iOS and Android)
The ClinicalKey app enables users to access ClinicalKey via a mobile
device. These instructions describe how
to download and access the app. Must connect to University of New Mexico to access content.

Stat!Ref (Apple, Android, Blackberry)
Stat!Ref includes e-books such as ACP Smart Medicine, AHFS Drug Information, and the AORN Guidelines for Perioperative Practice. You must create a Stat!Ref account to use the app; click on the link above to view the setup instructions. To access Stat!Ref at UNM, click here.

Micromedex
UNM subscription includes access to Micromedex Free Drug Reference (Apple, Android, Windows 8), Drug Interactions (Apple, Android), and IV Compatibility (Apple, Android) apps.

Download the app then click on the link above to get the password for the app. Use of Micromedex at UNM is for educational purposes only. Contact HSLIC if you have questions.

Clinical Pharmacology (Apple, Android)
Create an account by going to Clinical Pharmacology and clicking on 'Register' in the top right corner. Use your @salud or @unm email address when you register. Download the app and enter the username and password you created. Note: The Clinical Pharmacology app needs approximately 1200 MB of free space on your device in order to download.

Reprotox (Apple, Android)
Download the app and enter "UNM" for the last name. Click the link above to get the account number.

Reprotox has released new apps for iPhone and Android. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the app if it does not update itself.

LibKey Nomad
Download the LibKey Nomad browser extension on your desktop or laptop to easily find active article links.
Browzine App
To access BrowZine from your smartphone or tablet, download the BrowZine app from your app store.
Mukurtu (Native Health Database)
Mukurtu Mobile is a companion app for use with Mukurtu CMS allowing users to create content on the go and directly upload to the Native Health Database.

Board Vitals
Board review mobile app is available on the App Store and Google Play

3D Organon Anatomy
Click the link above to see installation instructions. 3D Organon is available for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.

All HSC Students should be registered to use 3D Organon automatically. Interested faculty should contact HSLIC via the Ask a Librarian page.

iMedical Apps
Website that reviews apps for smartphones and tablets. Reviews are done by medical professionals. Reviews can be selected based on subject, like pediatrics or family practice; or by the type of hardware - ie iPhone or Android device.
