This guide is intended to help students, staff, faculty, and practitioners at UNM connect with wellness resources and best practices to help avoid burnout in conjunction with their work and research.

Nap Pods

Our Nap Pods are are great way to take a quick study break. Each has an adjustable seat, privacy screen, and headphones that play calming music. Try one out today!

 

Wellness Corner

Located right outside the Wellness Room on the third floor, the Wellness Corner is a great option for grab and go items or when the Wellness Room is in use. Find these supplies available: 

  • Puzzles 
  • Coloring books 
  • Coloring supplies 
  • Fidget tools 
  • Barrier Necessities station 
  • Blankets
  • Prayer rug 

Treadmills

The treadmills are located on the third floor next to the group study rooms. Incorporated some movement into your study time and enjoy the view! 

 

The library has a great collection of graphic medicine titles available for checkout. These graphic novels deal with health journeys, mental health, physician stories, and more! Located on the fourth floor near classroom 428.

A graphic novel exploring amputation, revealing details about famous amputees throughout history, the invention of the tourniquet, phantom limb syndrome, types of prostheses, and transhumanist technologies.
