Special Collections materials are available to all researchers - you do not need to be affiliated with UNM.
During regular operations, please allow at least five business days for staff to retrieve materials.
Staff are able to pull up to five books and six boxes per appointment.
Due to limited staff, we are not able to do research for out-of-town patrons. If you are unable to visit, you might consider hiring a proxy researcher.
Appointments are available during regular business hours for 2-3 hour blocks.
Please contact the archivist to make an appointment at least five business days prior to the expected visit.
Please note that researcher appointments are different from scheduled consultations made via the "Schedule Appointment" feature.
