Welcome to the Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HSLIC is currently operating in a largely virtual capacity. Please see this page for information regarding our ongoing virtual services, as well as our curbside pick up service. We appreciate everyone's patience as we all cope with our current public health situation, and wish everyone well.

Due to COVID-19 CDC recommendations, HSLIC’s physical facility is closed. All of HSLIC’s electronic resources are available 24/7, and virtual library services are available 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
In order to provide greater access to HSLIC resources, the library is providing contactless pickup for certain items from the library's physical collection.
Due to limited operations while the Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center building remains closed, print materials on Course Reserves will not circulate. To assist faculty in making course reserves material available to students, we will provide a new Scanning & Permanent Link service starting Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Faculty members can now submit requests for course reserves material to be scanned for use in their course by filling out the Scanning and Permanent Link Request Form.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows affiliated users to obtain research materials not available at HSLIC by requesting them from other libraries. These resources include journal articles, books, and conference proceedings. This service also provides delivery of HSLIC-owned books or scanned articles to other U.S. libraries. This service is available Monday - Friday from 8:00 am-5:00pm.
While we are still operating in a largely virtual capacity, there are still many ways to get the services you are used to at HSLIC.
If you need reference support, request support via chat, submit a question, request an appointment, or request a literature search from our faculty and staff members. All information can be found on our Ask A Librarian page.
