The HSLIC Biomedical Informatics Seminar Series (BioMISS) is a lecture series that provides the UNM and Health Sciences community with a forum for discussion on salient topics in biomedical informatics and fosters collaboration among those interested in the field. Each season, the BioMISS features an array of distinguished speakers to spark your interest in biomedical informatics. Each session also consists of a short presentation and lively discussion.
Offers educational programs focused on current standards issues and workshops on emerging topics, which often lead to the formation of committees to develop new standards. HSLIC can participate in webinars for free or at discounted rates through its Library Standards Alliance Membership. Watch for emails and team messages for links and codes.
NNLM offers a variety of online, on-demand and in-person training opportunities to support professional development and continuing education for librarians, educators, and health professionals.
The event is usually held in late spring or early summer. It is free to all UNM faculty, staff, and students. IT staff from across campus and vendors provide presentations on applications and other technology available at UNM.
This annual event is held in January. The conference offers presentations on topics related to the use of UNM’s institutional data resources and tools.
