Disarticulated Human Skeleton- Labeled

Life-size, disarticulated full human skeleton consisting of 53 durable plastic pieces. One hand and foot are articulated on wire, while the other pair is loosely articulated on nylon filament. The vertebral column is also strung on nylon filament.

Located on the second floor in the Reserves section.

Skeleton Model with Muscles and Ligaments- Second Floor

Life-size, articulated, plastic human skeleton showing numbered muscle origins (red) and insertions (blue) on the right side and fully flexible joints on the left side. Also features a flexible spine and head joints, protruding spinal nerves and vertebral arteries, along with a lumbar slipped disc.

Flexible Human Skeleton- Fourth Floor

Skeleton's spine can bend to mimic any natural human movement. Once flexed, it will remain fixed in position to demonstrate correct and incorrect posture or various pathological conditions. In addition, all skull and neck movements can be demonstrated. Spinal nerve exits and vertebral arteries are shown as is a dorso-lateral disc prolapse between the 3rd and 4th lumbar vertebrae.
